You can stop smoking
You can stop smoking completely if you really want to. Granted that the addiction to nicotine can only make you crave for more, you nonetheless have to try hard at it. Think of those who have tried and succeeded, not of those who failed. If you are thus able to go the distance, you deserve the trophy of success. Stopping smoking is an involving process, and one that could take up to a year, or more… or not. You may have survived a few days, or even weeks, but your craving for a cigarette might only be lurking somewhere, waiting for a chance to get out. The next time you are close to a cigarette, you could find that you cant do without it anymore. So, I suggest you keep totally away. Make it a real commitment that you are determined not to break. That will help you stop smoking for good. Addictive substances are actually holding on to something inside of your brain. Sometimes, breaking away from them requires something being done to the brain to make it let go of the substances. In quitting smoking, you might have to do something of that nature. I know I would, good thing I never got hooked before I quit. America has, likely, one of the largest populations of smokers all over the world, but Id bet she also has the largest number of successful quitters as well. It shouldn’t be that hard for you to find someone who has succeeded at it. And if you can follow their example, people can be seeking you out too for help on how you stopped your smoking habit, sooner than later.
