THE head of Germany’s protestant church was caught driving her official limousine at the weekend while three times over the drink- drive limit.
Police stopped Bishop Margot Kaessmann, 51, after she ran a red light in Hanover. She allegedly told police: “I have only drunk one glass of wine.” A local newspaper speculated that “it must have been a very large glass indeed”.
